Common Scams to Avoid

"Pa-abono" / "pa-reserve" deposits

Someone asks you to send a deposit or reservation fee before meeting. Never pay before you meet in person — pay cash on the spot.

Fake "paid na po" screenshots

Edited GCash or bank screenshots claiming payment was sent. Always confirm the money is actually in YOUR account before handing over the item.

Overpayment / sukli scam

A buyer “accidentally” overpays and asks you to send the difference back. Don't — the original payment is fake or will be reversed.

Rushed or too-good-to-be-true deals

High-pressure "bilis, last na" tactics or prices far below market. Slow down and verify before committing.

Off-app or meet-alone lures

Insists on moving the chat off the app or meeting somewhere private/remote. Keep the conversation in-app and meet at a public Safe Spot.
